sent to Independent Gospel Missions. I will give update as we reach towards the goal. In addition we are praying for 5 acres land for the Bible college because right now we have only 0.006 acre which cannot accommodate more than 15 students and considering the future expansion of ministry, land is very crucial. Please pray for the needed $200,000 to buy 5 acres. We are trusting God to do mighty things even in the days to come and we thank you all for your prayers and support and your partnership which means a lot to us and please be assured of our prayers.
After a busy Spring Semester and the unusual snow fall and cool weather , we are really enjoying the summer which makes us feel like in India. It is also quite encouraging to see the Lord bring out all the bits and pieces together. Two weeks back when I was thinking about future plans for ministry, the Lord encouraged me in my Quiet Time through Ps 71: 1, 7 where it says, “In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge.” I could see many things happen in these two weeks. By God’s grace I could complete 33 hours of PhD program with a GPA of 3.63. I have registered for two classes in summer. Also I would like to mention my future plans so that you can meaningfully pray. Vishakhapatnam where we are going to start the ministry is the 9th largest city in the country with 3 million people and 300,000 college students. In this city we have only 4 Baptist churches and no accredited Bible college. Even if we have one church per 200 people how many churches do we need? What about the need of training the nationals because they would be the future pastors? The need is to train them in sound biblical doctrine so that they can become effective expositors of the word of God. This has been my Call and Prayer for life. We are excited about this call but we need prayer and helping hands to fulfill this vision. My appeal is to partner with us in investing into the lives of our people which can reap only eternal benefits. We are enrolling 2 students (Rajesh and Prasad) this summer in Piedmont Online Masters program. The idea is by the time I complete my PhD they will complete their Masters so that they can teach in the Bible college. Also we need to raise the money for the building so that we can build the church and Bible college which is our immediate goal for next 23 months before I graduate in May 2012 to go back to India. Also we are in the process of acquiring books for the bible college. If you have any books which you can donate to the Bible college please let us know so that we can collect them and ship them to India. Also I am at 60% level of my monthly support.
